Blue Agave Mexican Grill

Dine in or take out. The food was good, nachos made with shredded cheese I loved the way they laid out the nachos with your choice of beans and meat! Fresh chips and salsa! The kids loved it and my friend got a Pollo plate which was delicious!!

Agave is a Mexican grill/tequila bar in Uptown Gig Harbor. The food is super good, I like the carne asada and any nachos they serve! I'm sure you can imagine yummy Mexican food, it's here. There's atleast 100 tequilas to choose from from easy on the wallet wells to bottles in the 3 figure department. The bar is usually quiet with about 8 chairs, so bring your friends and take over the whole bar! The restaurant can get busy..as you might figure. Maybe 14 tables? Lots of two tops... enjoy, hope you like!

Really good food but i almost choked on a staple from the chip bag. They use it to close their chip bags. I thought it was still attached when i opened the bag and began to eat my food with chips... the staple fell off the bag and into a chip fold, i didn’t notice until it was in my mouth. My suggestion: use a pice of tape or nothing at all to close the chip bags. Fix that and ill change my review to 5 stars Edit: Changed to 5 stars! Receptive to customer feedback-strong work!

I love going to this restaurant when I don’t want to go to far from the house. I will admit, the food at this place is excellent. You will get a lot of food for the price. One thing I like about this place is that you can watch them as they cook your food. Their drinks are really good! They do not hold back on the liquor! Overall, I like going to this place - I will definitely go back.

Not on their menu is my favorite we get here, i.e., it is vegan, the vegetable fajita, we specify not wanting sour cream and no cheese. It is amazing. Be sure you have your phone ready to take a video shot the fajita as it is served, quietly focus on vegetables to record it sizzling, when I show this video, friends say, "Where is this place?!" Once you pour on its pinto beans, pico de gio and rice, mix in, the plate becomes so much, it is enough for two. This is a must have experience, I assure you. Spread guacamole on a corn tortilla, put your mixed fajita in, fold in for a soft taco, as you bite in, chewing your eyes roll up like a shark taking a bite.

I visited on a Friday for lunch. They have al pastor, carnitas, mole, fajita style and more. I had the carnitas and they were crispy and delicious. The tortillas, chips, salsas, all the food is fresh, the people warm and the place is relaxed. They have a small bar that has a great selection of tequilas and other drinks I look forward to trying another day.

Great place! The price is very reasonable and the portions at grand! The staff is very polite and attentive. The food is tasty.
